Nabil Marmouk: Morocco defender joins AS FAR Rabat on free transfer

Moroccan centre-back Nabil Marmouk has joined AS FAR Rabat on a free transfer from Kuwaiti side Al-Arabi. The 28-year-old moves into the Botola Pro Inwi, strengthening the defence of one of Morocco’s most prominent clubs.

Marmouk arrives in Rabat after a spell in Kuwait with Al-Arabi, where he gained experience in a different footballing environment before returning to his home country. His switch to AS FAR Rabat is a permanent move, with no transfer fee involved.

Capable of operating at the heart of the back line, Marmouk fits the profile of a central defender with enough experience to slot directly into a competitive squad. At 28, he is entering what is often considered a key phase in a defender’s career, combining physical peak with greater tactical awareness.
