Nabil Jaadi has left Anderlecht to join Serie A club Udinese on a five-year contract. The 18-year-old Moroccan winger, who was a key player in Anderlecht’s Viareggio Cup victory in 2013 and their finalist finish in 2014, has decided to move to Italy after failing to break into Anderlecht’s first team.
Despite interest from clubs like Arsenal and several French clubs, Jaadi chose Udinese for the opportunities it offers young players. In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Jaadi explained his decision: “Udinese has a lot of experience with young players, while at Arsenal, I had no guarantee of being in the first team. At Udinese, I will have the chance to train with great players and continue my development. I will do everything to earn my place in the team.”
