Tottenham Hotspur has announced the contract extension of Nabil Bentaleb on its official website. The French-Algerian midfielder, who is a French under-19 international, will now be tied to Spurs until 2018. Bentaleb was trained in Lille but was not retained by the club. Having showcased his talents with four goals in 14 matches during a six-month stint with the Tottenham reserve team at the end of the last season, Bentaleb is already considering representing Algeria on the international stage. He has expressed his desire to play for the Fennecs.
