Egyptian attacker Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo” has stressed that he is determined to help Al Ahly compete for trophies.
The experienced forward signed for the Egyptian giants last week in a move from rivals Zamalek.
On Sunday, he had his chance to play his first match for Al Ahly in their friendly game against Pachuca ahead of the start of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Speaking after the game, Zizo said, “I didn’t expect to participate with Al Ahly in the Pachuca match because I arrived 24 hours before the match and didn’t train, but I spoke with Ribeiro and he wanted me to integrate with the team, and Gradishar’s injury is the reason for my early participation in the match.”
The forward further revealed that his ambition as an Al Ahly player is to work hard and help the club in every competition.
“I am very satisfied with my time with the team in the Pachuca match. My ambition is to win all the championships and to work hard and help Al Ahly in all the competitions,” Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo” said.
