MUSTAPHA YATABARÉ: THE MALIAN HERO OF GUINGAMP – VIDEO
Yatabaré has become the talk of the town among Guingamp supporters since Saturday evening, and with good reason. The Malian striker once again displayed his prowess during the Coupe de France final, where his team secured a 2-0 victory over Rennes at the Stade de France. Yatabaré emerged as the top scorer in the competition this year.
Yatabaré contributed significantly to Guingamp’s triumph, scoring the team’s second goal shortly after returning from the locker room. This marked his 8th goal of the competition, with each of his contributions proving decisive. In the semi-finals, he became a national hero by scoring a double, including a goal in extra time, against Monaco.
“We enjoyed it, we had fun. In the end, we win this wonderful cup. We can be very proud of ourselves. We deserve it, we had the perfect match. They didn’t have a chance, we were exceptional tonight. We controlled the entire match, they had nothing. Nothing to say! We were perfect,” expressed Yatabaré after the match.
