Musah Mohammed swaps Goztepe for Sivasspor in Turkish football move

Ghana midfielder Musah Mohammed has joined Sivasspor from Goztepe, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2028.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder moves to a Sivasspor side competing in Turkey’s 1. Lig after spending the previous part of the campaign with Goztepe in the Super Lig.

Mohammed joined Goztepe from Bodrum FK on 5 February 2026, with that transfer carrying a €300,000 fee. His stay in Izmir lasted six months before he made the move to Sivasspor on 18 August.

Born in Accra, Mohammed stands at 1.92m and is right-footed. He developed his career in Turkey after joining Ankaraspor from Ghanaian club Bectero FC in January 2021.

He spent a period on loan at Eyupspor during the 2021-22 season before returning to Ankaraspor at the end of the campaign. Mohammed then left Ankaraspor for Bodrum FK on a free transfer in July 2022.

The move to Sivasspor is the latest step in a Turkish career that has included spells across the country’s professional divisions. His contract gives the club control of the midfielder through the end of the 2027-28 season.

Sivasspor have now secured Mohammed’s arrival from Goztepe, with the Ghanaian midfielder completing the switch on 18 August 2026.
