Musa Malik: Nigerian winger at Ikorodu City linked with AIK move
Nigeria’s Musa Malik, the 17-year-old left winger currently at Ikorodu City, is being linked with a move to Swedish Allsvenskan side AIK. The Lagos club’s attacker, valued at around €75,000, has emerged as a potential target as the Stockholm outfit explore options to strengthen their wide areas.
Malik is under contract at Ikorodu City until 30 June 2026, meaning any deal would require the Nigerian club’s agreement rather than a free transfer. The interest comes midway through his first full campaign in the Nigerian Premier Football League, where he has made 15 appearances, scoring twice and providing one assist.
Born in Oyo State on 17 August 2008 and standing at 1.83m, Malik operates primarily on the left flank but is right-footed, a profile that could appeal to clubs looking for inverted wide options. He has progressed quickly at Ikorodu City after stepping up from Ikorodu U20 on 31 December 2024.
His current season has seen him log 877 league minutes, averaging a goal every 439 minutes, a return that has drawn attention despite his age. That form has coincided with his market value reaching a career high of €75,000 in late June 2026.
For now, Malik remains part of Ikorodu City’s first-team plans as he continues under a deal that runs for another two years, with discussions over his future expected to shape the next stage of his development.
