Musa Jatta: Osters IFs Gambian defender linked with Ludogorets move
Musa Jatta, the Gambian centre-back currently at Swedish side Osters IF, is being linked with a move to Bulgarian champions Ludogorets in the efbet Liga. The 21-year-old defender, who joined Osters in January, is understood to be on the radar of the Razgrad club as they assess defensive options for the new campaign.
Jatta, a left-footed centre-back standing at 1.92m, has featured in Swedens Superettan this season, making four league appearances for Osters and playing 280 minutes. While not yet a regular starter, he has broken into the matchday squad and earned just over a fifth of the available league minutes so far.
His situation is likely to attract interest given his current valuation of around 150,000, which would represent a relatively low-cost addition for a club with Ludogorets resources. There is no publicly known contract expiry date at Osters, adding a layer of uncertainty around what kind of deal might be required to secure his services.
Jatta only arrived at Osters on 29 January 2026 after a spell in Finland with AC Oulu, where he had moved from Slovak side Podbrezova following a series of switches that also included a loan stint at Pohronie. His frequent moves across European leagues over the past two seasons suggest a player still settling and open to new opportunities.
For now, Jatta remains part of the Osters IF squad in Swedens second tier, with his role in the Superettan campaign ongoing as interest from Ludogorets continues to develop in the background.
