Munir El Haddadi, the Morocco and Spain international attacking midfielder currently at Esteghlal FC, is being linked with a move to Moroccan side Ittihad Tanger in the Botola Pro Inwi. The 30-year-old, who plays in the Persian Gulf League for the Iranian club, is under contract until 30 June 2027 but has emerged as a potential target for the Tangier outfit as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Esteghlal are not under immediate pressure to sell, with El Haddadi tied down for another year, but interest from Ittihad Tanger is understood to be serious as the Moroccan club explore ways to add top-level experience to their squad. El Haddadi is currently valued at around 1.5 million, a figure that could frame any negotiations between the two clubs.

A move to Ittihad Tanger would mark a return to Moroccan domestic football for the versatile forward, who represents Morocco at international level despite also holding Spanish nationality. His performances in Iran have ensured he remains a prominent figure on the radar of clubs in North Africa.

While no agreement is in place and talks have not yet resulted in a deal, El Haddadis contractual situation at Esteghlal means any transfer in the near term would require a fee rather than a free move, leaving the Iranian club in a strong position at the negotiating table.
