Muhammed Jamiu Abdoulkarim: Nigerian forward joins Trinec from Vlasim in Czech second-tier switch

Nigerian centre-forward Muhammed Jamiu Abdoulkarim has joined FK Trinec from league rivals Vlasim in a completed move within the Czech National Football League. The 22-year-old, who stands at 1.83m and plays primarily through the middle, links up with Trinec after being officially registered by the club on 24 July 2026.

Abdoulkarim arrives from Vlasim having already built up experience in Czech football across both senior and youth levels. Operating as a right-footed central striker, he will add competition in attack for Trinec as they prepare for the upcoming campaign in the second tier. The transfer keeps him in the same division, offering continuity while giving him a new platform to push for more regular minutes.

The Nigerian has already shown an eye for goal earlier in his time in the country, scoring 16 times in 43 appearances in the third-tier MSFL and adding three goals in seven matches at under-19 top-flight level. He also has experience of domestic cup action with three outings in the MOL Cup, underlining his exposure to different competitions in Czech football.

Last season, Abdoulkarim featured in the Czech National Football League with Vlasim, making 23 appearances and contributing an assist as he adjusted to the demands of the division. Trinec will now look to draw on that familiarity with the league as he settles into his new surroundings.

Abdoulkarim’s move from Vlasim to Trinec is a confirmed switch within the Czech National Football League, with the Nigerian striker now officially part of the Trinec squad.
