MTN8 final: Pirates and Sundowns tickets go on sale Friday

Tickets for the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns will go on sale online at 10:00 on Friday, October 2.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, October 10 at Moses Mabhida Stadium, with kick-off at 18:00. Each ticket will cost R150.

Tickets will be sold exclusively online through the official Open Tickets platform. An online queue is expected when sales begin, and supporters have been advised to have a valid banking card and sufficient funds available before joining it.

A maximum of four tickets may be purchased by each person in a single transaction. Once tickets have been placed in a buyer’s cart, payment must be completed within 10 minutes, after which the booking window will expire.

Organisers have urged supporters to use only the official sales platform and to avoid unauthorised third-party sellers.

Moses Mabhida Stadium will host the MTN8 showpiece for the 10th time. The final’s return to the Durban venue follows a period of refurbishment and rehabilitation, bringing the match back to the centre of the domestic football calendar.

Orlando Pirates will be aiming to win the competition for a fifth consecutive season, while Mamelodi Sundowns will attempt to end their wait for the trophy.

Hospitality packages will also go on sale on Friday. Enquiries about those packages will be handled by the Moses Mabhida Stadium hospitality team.

All spectators entering the stadium, including children, must have a valid ticket.

With sales opening at 10:00, supporters will need to be ready to join the online queue as preparations continue for the meeting between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
