Mozambique officials appointed for Togo v Burundi in Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Mozambican referee Celso Armindo Alvacao to oversee Togo’s Group I meeting with Burundi in the opening round of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers.

The match will be played on 25 September 2026 at the Stade de Kegue, where Alvacao will be responsible for managing proceedings and ensuring the game is conducted smoothly.

Alvacao, who is experienced in continental competitions, will be supported by compatriots Arsenio Maringule and Zacarias Baloi. The pair will serve as assistant referees, with responsibility for flagging offside decisions and other touchline infringements.

Simoes Guambe completes the all-Mozambican officiating team and will act as the fourth official.
