Ferencváros are being linked with a move for IFK Norrköping right-back Moutaz Neffati, with the Hungarian champions reportedly monitoring the 21-year-old’s situation in Sweden.
The Tunisian-Swedish defender, valued at around €750,000, is rumoured to be a target as Ferencváros explore options in the NB I. market. The speculation, originating from transfer listings in early December, does not yet carry a defined probability of completion, with the deal currently marked as “?” and no agreement reported between the clubs.
Neffati is on the books at Norrköping and has no publicly listed contract expiry date, leaving open the possibility that his future could involve a low-fee move or even a free-agent scenario further down the line if no extension is agreed. For now, however, he remains an IFK player in the Allsvenskan, with Ferencváros only credited with interest rather than an active bid.
Born in Norrköping on 4 September 2004, Neffati has come through the local system, progressing from IFK Norrköping Jugend to the U19s and then into the first team. Loan spells at IF Sylvia in Sweden and KR Reykjavík in Iceland have given him senior experience across different environments, before he returned from Reykjavík to Norrköping in July 2024.
Operating primarily as a right-back, the 1.82m defender has seen his market value rise sharply in recent seasons, climbing from €25,000 in 2022 to a peak of €800,000 in late 2024 before settling at €750,000 in the most recent update. That trajectory underpins the interest from abroad and frames any potential deal as a relatively affordable gamble for Ferencváros.
If the move does materialise, a switch from Allsvenskan to NB I. could represent a significant next step for Neffati, offering a broader stage to develop his dual-nationality profile and potentially reshape the course of his emerging career.
