Moustapha Cisse: Guinea forward joins Carrarese on loan from Atalanta U23
Guinea striker Moustapha Cisse has joined Carrarese on loan from Atalanta U23, handing the newly promoted Serie B side added firepower in attack for the 2026-27 season.
The 22-year-old centre-forward, born in Conakry and standing at 1.82m, moves on a temporary deal from the Serie C outfit, with the loan running until 30 June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Atalanta’s second team. Cisse’s current market value is listed at €600,000.
Cisse arrives in Tuscany with experience across several levels of Italian football and a recent stint in Switzerland. Last season he was on the books of Atalanta U23 in Serie C, having previously spent the 2024-25 campaign at FC St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League, where he scored twice and provided two assists in 21 league appearances.
The right-footed forward has already featured in Serie A, Serie B and European competition. He has a Serie A goal to his name from three top-flight outings for Atalanta and has appeared in both the Europa Conference League and Europa League, adding continental experience to Carrarese’s squad.
Cisse’s most prolific spell came at youth level with Atalanta, where he hit 11 goals in 11 Primavera 1 matches and impressed further in play-off and cup fixtures. He later gained second-tier experience with loans at Pisa and Sudtirol in Serie B before being integrated into Atalanta U23.
Carrarese, preparing for life in Serie B, have secured Cisse’s services on a season-long loan as they reshape their forward line for the upcoming campaign.
