Guinean attacking midfielder Moussa Corso Traoré has confirmed that several prominent African clubs, including Vita Club, as well as teams from Algeria and Tunisia, have expressed interest in acquiring his services. Traoré, who recently played in Senegal, has had a stellar season with Bani Gansè FC in the Beninese Ligue 1.

Traoré’s exceptional performance this season has earned him multiple accolades. The 25-year-old was named the best player in the championship, best foreign player, and top scorer, having netted 19 goals and provided 8 assists in 32 matches across all competitions.

His contributions were instrumental in Bani Gansè FC’s competitive season, despite the team finishing third in the league standings with 39 points, behind Loto Popo (42 points), Dadjè (47 points), and champions Coton Sport Ouidah (51 points).

The midfielder’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed. Traoré revealed to Africafoot, “Yes, I have confirmation for the Vita Club, but I don’t know the interests of ASEC Mimosas.

There are a lot of clubs interested in me at the moment. There are clubs in Algeria and Tunisia, but I prefer not to express myself too much on the subject at the moment.

My agent takes care of the negotiations.” This statement underscores the considerable demand for his talent across the continent.

Traoré’s versatility on the field is one of his key attributes. He is adept at playing as an attacking midfielder as well as on the flanks, which adds to his attractiveness as a potential signing.

His journey in professional football has seen him gain experience in various leagues, including stints in Europe with clubs in Sweden and Hungary.

In the summer of 2022, he returned to Africa, joining AS Kaloum in the Guinean Ligue 1, before moving to Senegal where he played for FC Guédiawaye and AS Pikine.

His move to Bani Gansè FC marked the beginning of a particularly fruitful period in his career.

Despite his personal success, Traoré’s club fell short of the championship title. Bani Gansè FC concluded the season in third place, a respectable finish but one that leaves room for improvement.

Nevertheless, Traoré’s individual brilliance throughout the season has solidified his reputation as one of the league’s standout players.

As Traoré contemplates his next move, the interest from top clubs across Africa suggests a bright future.

Whether he opts for Vita Club, or one of the interested teams from Algeria or Tunisia, his next step will be closely watched by fans and analysts alike.

His agent is currently handling negotiations, and a decision is anticipated soon.

Traoré’s next destination will likely provide him with a platform to further showcase his skills and perhaps achieve even greater success.

His journey thus far illustrates a player of significant talent and determination, ready to take on new challenges and elevate his career to new heights.
