Moussa Bakayoko: Ivorian winger joins Cambodia’s RCAF from Shan United

Moussa Bakayoko has joined Cambodian club RCAF, with the Ivory Coast left winger moving from Myanmar side Shan United on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old’s switch was completed on 8 September 2026, taking him from Shan United in the M League to RCAF in the C. Premier League. The move represents a change of country and league for Bakayoko, who will continue his career in Cambodia after leaving the Myanmar club.

Bakayoko operates primarily on the left wing, a position that has defined his role as he moves into a new chapter with RCAF. His arrival gives the Cambodian side an experienced attacking player at the age of 29, while also adding an Ivorian presence to their squad.

The transfer was completed without a fee after Bakayoko’s departure from Shan United. His listed market value is €100,000, but RCAF secured his services as a free agent.

The move also marks a direct switch between two south-east Asian football environments. Bakayoko leaves Myanmar’s M League for Cambodia’s C. Premier League, with RCAF becoming his new club following his time at Shan United.

RCAF have therefore added a player with a clearly defined wide attacking role ahead of his involvement in Cambodian football. Bakayoko’s nationality, age and position make him one of the club’s latest international additions, while the move gives him the opportunity to continue playing abroad.

The completed transfer places Bakayoko at RCAF from 8 September 2026, following his free move from Shan United.
