Mounir Jebbar: Moroccan winger joins Sestri Levante on free transfer from Cairese

Moroccan winger Mounir Jebbar has joined Sestri Levante on a free transfer from Cairese, signing a deal with the Serie D – A club until 30 June 2027.

The 21-year-old left-sided attacker arrives with significant experience at this level despite his age, having already made more than 80 league appearances in Serie D – A. Jebbar completed the move on 29 July 2026 and will now look to establish himself on Sestri Levante’s left flank.

Right-footed but operating primarily as a left winger, Jebbar has built a reputation for his work on the wing across several Ligurian clubs. He joined Cairese in July 2025, also on a free transfer, and now switches to Sestri Levante with a current market value listed at €100,000.

Last season, Jebbar featured regularly in Serie D – A, taking his tally in the competition to 84 appearances, with nine goals and two assists. Across those matches he has accumulated 5,837 minutes on the pitch, underlining his durability and consistent selection at senior level. He has also appeared in the Coppa Italia Serie D and in the Serie D play-out.

Before his spell at Cairese, the Moroccan wide player had short stints with Sanremese and Chieri, having earlier stepped up from Albenga’s youth and senior sides and spending time on loan at Imperia. His steady progression through the regional game has kept him a constant presence in Serie D.

Jebbar’s arrival confirms Sestri Levante’s latest attacking reinforcement, tying the winger to the club for the 2026-27 campaign.
