Mouloudia Oujda president Khalil Mutahid has resigned
Khalil Mutahid has stepped down as president of Moroccan club Mouloudia Oujda, in a move that has surprised many within the football community.
According to multiple reports, Mutahid formally submitted his resignation to the club’s board of directors.
In a statement, he confirmed that after careful consideration, he had decided to end his tenure at the helm of the club.
Mutahid cited the current challenges facing Mouloudia Oujda as factors that made it impossible for him to continue in his role.
He emphasized that he had led the club with full honesty and integrity throughout his presidency.
Mouloudia Oujda, which competes in Morocco’s second division, suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Ittihad Abi El Jaad on Saturday evening, underscoring the struggles the club has faced on the pitch.
