Motor Lublin activate clause to secure Senegalese winger Mbaye Ndiaye
Motor Lublin have moved to secure the future of winger Mbaye Jacques Ndiaye by activating a unilateral clause in his contract, extending his stay at the club until June 2028.
The decision comes less than two years after the Senegalese player arrived in Poland from Teungueth FC in January 2024.
Since then, the 22-year-old has quickly established himself as an important figure in the squad.
Initially tied to the club until June 2026, Ndiaye’s contract has now been automatically extended by an additional two seasons.
According to reports from Wiw Sport, the Polish club formally activated the clause in order to maintain control of one of its most influential players.
The move reflects the club’s confidence in the winger, whose impact has grown steadily since his arrival.
Motor Lublin’s management opted to act before the original deadline, ensuring the player remains part of the team as the club continues its development in Poland’s top division.
Ndiaye has played a consistent role since making the switch from the Senegalese league.
Across 56 appearances for Motor Lublin, he has scored 12 goals and registered two assists, statistics that underline his growing importance to the side.
His performances during the current campaign have continued that upward trend. The winger has already scored six goals and added one assist in 15 matches, helping him secure a regular place in the starting line-up in the Ekstraklasa.
One moment in particular remains central to his time at the club. Ndiaye scored the decisive goal in the play-off final against Arka Gdynia, a strike that confirmed Motor Lublin’s promotion to the top tier of Polish football.
That goal proved pivotal in the club’s rise to the Ekstraklasa and highlighted the value of the investment made in the young Senegalese winger.
By extending his contract early, Motor Lublin have ensured that one of the players central to their recent success remains part of their plans.
The decision also signals the club’s intention to build on its progress and maintain stability as it continues its journey in the Polish top flight.
