Motez Nourani leaves Nacional after Tunisia winger’s latest career move

Tunisia winger Motez Nourani has joined the ranks of unattached players after leaving Portuguese side Nacional.

The 24-year-old’s departure was recorded on 3 September 2026, ending his time with the Liga Portugal club. Nourani had been registered as a Nacional player since July 2025 and is now without a club.

Nourani operates primarily on the left wing and is right-footed. Born in Sousse, he stands 1.77m tall and has represented clubs in Tunisia, Turkey and Portugal during his career.

His most recent campaign included a loan spell with CA Bizertin, which began in January 2026. That arrangement ended on 30 June, when he returned to Nacional. Nourani then remained with the Portuguese club before departing at the start of September.

Nourani did not make an appearance for Nacional in the opening four possible Liga Portugal matches of the 2026-27 season. He was not recorded as starting a game or contributing a goal or assist during that period.

Before moving to Portugal, Nourani joined Turkish club Adana Demirspor from Tunisia’s US Tataouine in January 2024 for a fee of €100,000. He left Adana Demirspor later that year and joined Nacional as a free agent in July 2025.

His earlier career included a spell with US Tataouine after moving there from Ittihad Shorta in August 2023. That sequence of moves took him from Tunisian football into the Turkish and Portuguese leagues.

Nourani’s exit from Nacional is the latest change in a career that has included both permanent transfers and a loan spell. His current market value is assessed at €175,000, while his highest recorded value was €250,000.

The winger has now completed his departure from Nacional and is officially without a club.
