Mostafa Mohamed is ready for a new challenge, and Saudi side NEOM could be his next stop.
The Egyptian striker, currently with French club Nantes, is excited by the idea of joining the ambitious Saudi project.
A source close to the player revealed that Mohamed has already spoken to his agent, who confirmed NEOM’s strong interest. The club is preparing to make an official move. The same source noted that Mohamed gave a positive response after learning of the interest and has been encouraged by NEOM’s communication with his former Egypt teammate Ahmed Hegazy.
Nantes are open to selling but have set a price that has stalled previous bids from PAOK and Istanbul Basaksehir. Now, it’s up to NEOM to meet the French club’s demands if they want to land the striker.
Mohamed, who is under contract until 2027, has scored 25 goals and assisted 8 times in 112 matches for Nantes. He has also played for Galatasaray and Egyptian clubs Zamalek, Tala’ea El-Geish, Tanta, and El-Dakhleya.
