Mostafa Kajo: Egyptian left-back joins Baladiya on permanent deal from Proxy FC
Egyptian defender Mostafa Kajo has joined Baladiya from Proxy FC, signing a contract with the club until 30 June 2028.
The 29-year-old left-back, who was born in Fayoum and stands at 1.82m, moves after a spell with Proxy FC that began in January 2025. He previously arrived there from Harras Hodoud, having joined them on a free transfer from Zed FC in September 2024.
Kajo is primarily a left-back and favours his left foot, adding specialist depth on the flank for Baladiya. Last season he featured across league and cup competitions, making 20 appearances in the Premier League, two in the Egyptian League Cup and one in the Egypt Cup, amassing close to 1,200 minutes of playing time.
Earlier in his career, Kajo had multiple stints with El Makasa and also represented El Hammam and El Nasr Tadeen, including several free-transfer moves that kept him active across the Egyptian league system. His highest recorded market valuation reached €100,000, reflecting the experience he has built up in domestic competition.
Kajo’s arrival continues a career spent entirely in Egyptian football and gives Baladiya an experienced option on the left side of defence for the duration of his two-year deal.
