Mostafa Al Zenary seals loan switch to National Bank

Mostafa Al Zenary is on the move, landing a loan deal with the National Bank of Egypt after falling out of favor at Zamalek.

The solid defender, once seen as a promising piece of the White Castle backline, was left out of Yannick Ferreira’s plans for the coming season.

In search of playing time and eager to revive his form, Al Zenary pushed for the switch. According to Kooora, he completed the move in person, accompanied by his agent Ahmed Yahya, as final touches were agreed between both clubs.

Zamalek gave the green light for the transfer after Al Zenary made it clear he wanted regular minutes. The deal gives him a full season to prove his worth in the Egyptian Premier League with a side eager to build a stronger backline.

While Zamalek prepares for their league opener against Ceramica Cleopatra on Friday, Al Zenary will be getting ready to fight for a starting role and a chance to show his value once again.
