Moss strengthen attack with Somali-Norwegian winger Moussa Njie on loan

Moussa Njie, the Somali-Norwegian left winger, has joined Moss from KFUM Oslo on loan in a move that takes him from Norway’s top flight to the OBOS-ligaen.

The 30-year-old’s loan runs until 31 December 2026, with Njie returning to KFUM Oslo at the end of the agreement. He completed the switch on 2 September and will remain under contract with KFUM until the end of the year.

Njie is a right-footed winger who can operate on the left side of the attack. Born in Oslo, he stands 1.85m tall and has represented Moss FK at national-club level.

He had made three appearances and played 180 minutes in the Norsk Tipping-Ligaen avdeling 1 during the 2026 campaign, starting half of those matches. He had not appeared for Moss in either the NM-Cup or Eliteserien before the move was registered.

The transfer brings an end to Njie’s spell with KFUM Oslo, where he had played since March 2022 after joining Sandefjord on a free transfer. His move to KFUM was also completed without a transfer fee.

Njie’s career has included spells with Sandefjord, Partizan, Odd, Stabæk, Brum and Valerenga. He initially joined Valerenga from the club’s youth set-up before moving to Brum in 2015, beginning a series of transfers across Norway and Serbia.

His time at Partizan included a loan move to Odd in 2019, before he returned to the Serbian club at the end of that year. He left Partizan in February 2020 and spent the following period without a club before joining Sandefjord in July 2021.

Moss play in the OBOS-ligaen, while KFUM Oslo compete in the Eliteserien, meaning the loan places Njie with a club in Norway’s second tier for the remainder of 2026.

Njie’s market value is listed at €200,000, and his latest move to Moss has been completed as a loan transfer.
