Moghreb Tetouan football team has clarified that the reason for parting ways with their former coach, Aloui Ismaili, stems from the poor results achieved by the “White Dove” representatives recently, contrary to what has been circulated in some reports.
A reliable source from the Tetouan team, speaking to “Hesport,” affirmed that the interim committee of Moghreb Tetouan had given Ismaili a full opportunity to deliver positive results.
The same source explained that the team’s officials had provided Ismaili with ample opportunity at a time when there were significant demands for his dismissal due to the modest results.
However, he failed to succeed during the additional period granted to him despite all the conditions for success being available.
The official emphasized that Ismaili had no disagreement with the team’s management, who had given him the green light in all matters related to his role as a coach.
However, the string of negative results compelled Moghreb Tetouan to relieve him of his duties.
The management of the sports company of Moghreb Athletic Tetouan announced on Wednesday that it had decided to terminate its contract with Mohammed Al Ismaili Alawi as the team’s coach due to the negative results.
The assistant coaching staff has been tasked with leading “Al-Mata” during the upcoming match in the seventeenth round against Olympique Safi, scheduled for Saturday, until a new captain is appointed.
