Roman Sais, the captain of the Moroccan national football team, emphasized that the goal is to defeat Zambia and conclude this stage as group leaders.
Sais highlighted during the press briefing that the national team aims to secure all three points and reach the Round of 16 as the leaders of Group Six.
The defender of “the Lions” pointed out that the national team will approach tomorrow’s Wednesday match with the same desire and ambition as in all the matches played in the Africa Cup.
The team is committed to improving the performance displayed in the previous game against the Democratic Republic of Congo, where weather conditions affected the overall performance of the players.
Sais stated, “We know that we were not at our best against Congo due to the hot and humid weather, but now we will present a different face against Zambia.
We promise to deliver a better performance because we aim to qualify as group leaders.”
The captain of the Moroccan national football team added, “The result of the last draw will motivate us to exert greater effort in the remaining matches and will give us the confidence to continue towards our intended goal, achieving the best possible outcome in this tournament.”
