Morocco’s Amine Adli shortlisted for Bournemouth Player of the Month award in EPL
Moroccan international Amine Adli has been shortlisted for the Player of the Month award at AFC Bournemouth for February, highlighting his increasing influence at the Premier League side.
The 25-year-old attacker secured the nomination after delivering a string of strong performances throughout the month. Adli appeared in four Premier League matches in February, registering one goal and one assist as he continued to make his presence felt in the team managed by Andoni Iraola.
His most memorable contribution came on February 10 when he found the net in Bournemouth’s 2–1 victory over Everton F.C., scoring a decisive goal that helped secure the win. Earlier in the month, Adli completed the full 90 minutes in a 1–1 draw against Aston Villa F.C. before featuring again in a goalless stalemate with West Ham United F.C., where he remained on the pitch for 66 minutes.
He also made a brief appearance from the bench during Bournemouth’s 1–1 draw with Sunderland A.F.C. later in the month.
Adli faces competition for the monthly award from three of his teammates at AFC Bournemouth, including midfielder Ryan Christie, goalkeeper Đorđe Petrović and defender Adrien Truffert.
The Moroccan forward joined AFC Bournemouth from Bayer Leverkusen in August 2025 for a reported fee of €29 million. Although his start in English football was relatively quiet, his recent performances have seen him gradually establish himself as a consistent attacking option in Iraola’s system, often posing a threat from the left flank.
Adli had already produced several important contributions earlier in the campaign. His strong displays in February followed an impressive January, highlighted by a dramatic 95th-minute winner against Liverpool F.C..
The latest nomination further underlines Adli’s growing importance within Bournemouth’s squad and reflects his rising reputation in the Premier League.
