Morocco youngster Hamza Igamane wants to force a move away from Scottish giants Rangers in the current transfer window.
The 21-year-old attacker has become one of the most sought-after forwards this summer following a breakthrough campaign with Rangers last season. Igamane scored 16 goals and provided 3 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions in Scotland.
His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, with French outfit Lille expressing huge interest in the attacker.
With the forward expressing desire to leave the club before the window is shut, clubs interested in the Morocco international would likely push for his signing.
Rangers value him at around €15m, a fee that has so far put off interested French clubs, including Lille. The French outfit held a verbal agreement earlier this summer but have since cooled their pursuit.
Besides Lille, fellow French outfit Stade Rennais are among the clubs to have monitored Igamane as they continue their search for a replacement for Arnaud Kalimuendo, who joined Nottingham Forest earlier in the window.
The 21-year-old could yet become one of Ligue 1’s late-window signings, with Lille and Rennes expected to make a move for the attacker.
