Morocco unveil official 2026 World Cup kit celebrating heritage and identity

German sportswear brand Puma has unveiled the official Morocco national team shirt for the 2026 World Cup, giving fans a first look at the strip the Atlas Lions will wear on football’s biggest stage.

The kit launch also confirmed that the new design will be used in the upcoming friendlies against Paraguay and Ecuador, offering an early on-pitch glimpse before the tournament.

The shirt blends Morocco’s iconic red and white colours in a modern style that still feels rooted in national identity. Subtle detailing adds a creative touch meant to reflect the depth of Moroccan heritage, giving the kit a more distinctive and meaningful character than a simple plain design.

Puma also chose to present the shirt using both Arabic and Amazigh (Berber) in its promotional material, a symbolic decision that highlights the cultural and linguistic diversity of the kingdom.

For many supporters, this bilingual approach underlines how the national team represents all Moroccans, at home and abroad, as excitement builds toward the 2026 World Cup.

Morocco are in Group C at the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti.
