Morocco Under-16 coach Nabil Baha linked with FUS Rabat job

Morocco Under-16 head coach Nabil Baha has emerged as a candidate to become the next manager of FUS Rabat following the club’s decision to part ways with head coach Saïd Chiba and his technical staff.

The former Morocco international is among the names being considered as FUS Rabat begin the search for a new coach ahead of the upcoming Botola season.

According to multiple reports, including information shared by the X account @youssefamz13, a source known for reporting on Moroccan football, the Rabat-based club has already started identifying potential replacements after ending its collaboration with Chiba.

Among the candidates linked with the position is Baha, whose long-standing association with FUS Rabat has strengthened his credentials for the role.

The former striker previously represented the club during his playing career before returning in a coaching capacity within the academy structure.

During his time at the club’s youth system, Baha worked with several age-group teams, gaining valuable experience in developing young players.

His familiarity with the club’s philosophy and internal structure is viewed as one of the factors that could work in his favour as the search for a new head coach continues.

Baha is currently responsible for Morocco’s Under-16 national team, where he continues to oversee the development of some of the country’s most promising young talents.

That position, however, means any move to club football would require approval from Morocco’s National Technical Directorate (DTN).

According to the reports, a final decision regarding his future cannot be made without the consent of the relevant football authorities.
