Morocco U-17 Lionesses wrap up preparations for clash with Italy
The Moroccan U-17 women’s national team completed their final training session at the Mohammed VI Football Complex ahead of their second group match in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup against Italy.
Coach Anouar Mghinya focused the session on technical and tactical work, aiming to sharpen the team’s readiness for the crucial encounter scheduled for Tuesday at 8 PM at Rabat’s Olympic Stadium.
The squad is looking to bounce back after a tough 3-0 defeat to Brazil in their opening match. Despite the result, team morale remains high, with players and staff channeling their energy into making tactical adjustments and building confidence for the Italian challenge.
Anouar Mghinya emphasized the importance of learning from each match and maintaining a strong team spirit: “Every game is a new chance to show our growth and commitment.” He added that facing top opponents like Brazil and Italy provides invaluable experience for the young Lionesses and will serve them well as the tournament progresses.
