Morocco striker Said Aoufir joins Ben Guerir on free transfer
Morocco centre-forward Said Aoufir has joined Ben Guerir from US Bejaad on a free transfer, adding experience to the Moroccan club’s attacking options.
Aoufir, 33, completed the move on 7 September 2026 and has agreed a contract with Ben Guerir until 30 June 2027. The transfer brings an end to his two-year spell with US Bejaad, where he had moved from Khemisset in September 2024, also without a fee.
The right-footed forward is 1.82m tall and operates primarily through the centre of the attack. His recent record includes two goals and one assist in 29 Botola Pro Inwi appearances, while he also scored once and provided one assist in two Coupe du Trone Marocaine matches.
Aoufir’s move to Ben Guerir continues a career spent largely within Moroccan football. Before joining US Bejaad, he played for Khemisset, having arrived from Beni Mellal in 2023. His time at Beni Mellal followed a free transfer from Amal Tiznit during the 2022-23 season.
He began that campaign with Berrechid before switching to Amal Tiznit, with both moves recorded as free transfers. Earlier in his career, Aoufir represented Ouarzazate, Widad Temara, OC Safi and Najm Anza.
The forward moved to Ouarzazate from Widad Temara in 2019, after spending one season with the latter following his departure from OC Safi. He joined OC Safi from Najm Anza in 2017, with each of those transfers completed without a fee.
Aoufir’s arrival gives Ben Guerir a centre-forward with experience across several Moroccan clubs and a contract that keeps him at the club through the end of June 2027. He is now officially a Ben Guerir player.
