Morocco striker Larbi Chquiry returns to EJSC on free transfer

Morocco centre-forward Larbi Chquiry has joined EJSC from Fath Nador on a free transfer, returning to the club he represented earlier in his career. The 32-year-old completed the move on 14 September 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Chquiry arrives after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Fath Nador. He joined that club from RAC Casablanca in January 2026, also on a free transfer, before making the latest switch at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.

The forward has been used as a centre-forward throughout his recorded senior career and is comfortable with either foot. His most recent competitive appearance came in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, where he played 87 minutes in one match.

His return to EJSC adds another chapter to a career spent largely in Moroccan football. Chquiry first joined the club in July 2021 after leaving an unspecified previous side, remaining there until his move to Kasba Tadla in July 2023. He then moved to Mansouria in July 2024 before signing for RAC Casablanca a year later.

The latest deal reunites Chquiry with EJSC after three seasons away. His move to Kasba Tadla in 2023, like his transfers to Mansouria, RAC Casablanca and Fath Nador, was completed without a transfer fee.

Born in Casablanca on 30 April 1994, Chquiry began his development with Raja Youth before progressing to Raja Casablanca Under-19s. He joined the under-19 side in 2011 and remained there until 2013, when he moved into senior football.

His return also marks a continuation of the pathway that first took him to EJSC, where he played after making the step up from youth football. The club has now secured his services through the end of the 2026-27 season.

Chquiry’s move from Fath Nador to EJSC was completed as a free transfer on 14 September 2026, with his contract running until 30 June 2027.
