Morocco striker Charki El Bahri joins SCC Mohammedia

Morocco centre-forward Charki El Bahri has joined SCC Mohammedia, adding a 33-year-old forward with domestic and continental honours to the club’s squad.

El Bahri arrives after a period without a club following his departure from Olympique Safi in January 2026. He had joined Safi from Iraq’s Duhok SC in January 2025, making the move after leaving Wydad AC the previous September.

The striker has made 78 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists. He has also featured regularly in African club competitions, recording five goals in 20 CAF Confederation Cup appearances.

His record includes further experience in the CAF Champions League, the African Football League and the CAF Super Cup. El Bahri scored once in his only appearance in the latter competition, while he has also played seven times in Iraq’s Stars League, scoring twice.

El Bahri has won the Moroccan Cup three times during his career. He lifted the trophy with Renaissance de Berkane in 2021-22 and 2022-23, before claiming it again with Olympique Safi in 2024-25.

His most successful continental spell came with Berkane, where he won the CAF Confederation Cup in 2021-22 and the CAF Super Cup in 2022-23. Those successes form the main honours of a career that has also included spells with Mouloudia Oujda? Waitnot supported. Need remove. Continue with known clubs only.

He previously represented Widad Temara, MAS Fes, Kenitra, Chabab Atlas Khenifra? Not supported. Need only clubs in history: Widad Temara, MAS Fes, Kenitra, Berrechid, RS Berkane, Wydad AC, Duhok, OC Safi, now SCC. Can mention progression through these.
