Morocco centre-forward Brahim El Bahraoui has joined Difaa El Jadida on a free transfer from Union Touarga, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2027.

The 34-year-old completed the move on 1 August 2026, remaining in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi after one season with Union Touarga. El Bahraoui joins Difaa El Jadida as an experienced domestic forward, having made 280 appearances in the competition and scored 50 goals.

His record also includes 14 assists in the Botola Pro Inwi, with his league appearances amounting to more than 15,000 minutes. El Bahraoui has also featured in African and domestic cup competitions during his career, scoring twice in 18 CAF Confederation Cup appearances and three times in 14 matches in the Moroccan Cup.

El Bahraoui’s career has included success with several Moroccan clubs. He won the CAF Confederation Cup with Renaissance de Berkane in the 2021-22 season and followed that by helping the club win the CAF Super Cup in 2022-23.

The forward has won the Moroccan Cup three times. His first two victories came with Renaissance de Berkane in 2021-22 and 2022-23, while his most recent success came with Olympique Safi in 2024-25.

El Bahraoui was also the Botola Pro top scorer in the 2019-20 season, when he finished the campaign with 16 goals. That achievement came during his spell with Rapide Oued Zem, following his move from FUS Rabat.

He began his senior career at Olympique Safi, having progressed from the club’s reserve side, and later represented FUS Rabat, Rapide Oued Zem, Renaissance de Berkane, Olympique Safi and Union Touarga before moving to Difaa El Jadida.

Born in Safi, El Bahraoui stands 1.77m tall and plays primarily through the centre of the attack. His arrival gives Difaa El Jadida a forward with extensive Botola experience and a record of success in Moroccan and African competitions.

The move is El Bahraoui’s latest club switch within Morocco and marks his first season with Difaa El Jadida after leaving Union Touarga at the end of the 2025-26 campaign. He has now committed his immediate future to the club through June 2027.
