Bilal Nadir is attracting growing interest ahead of the summer transfer window, with RC Strasbourg Alsace closely following the situation of the Olympique de Marseille midfielder.

According to sources, Strasbourg are considering a move for the Moroccan Olympic international as uncertainty continues over his future in Marseille.

The report states that the Alsatian club are exploring the possibility of keeping the midfielder in Ligue 1, while financial conditions are said to be central to the ongoing discussions.

Nadir’s contract situation has increased attention around the player, particularly as no agreement over an extension with Marseille has yet been reached.

“Several European clubs have expressed interest in signing the player on a free transfer,” the report notes, highlighting the growing competition surrounding the midfielder ahead of the next transfer window.

The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the young players attracting interest from multiple leagues in Europe despite facing difficulties earlier in his development.

Nadir joined Marseille in 2021 after leaving OGC Nice, but his progress at the club was slowed by a serious knee injury that affected both his development and his position within the squad.

Although that setback interrupted his rise, the midfielder has gradually rebuilt his place and continues to attract attention because of his technical qualities and versatility in attacking areas.

The player’s profile “continues to generate interest in Europe, appealing due to his technical ability and potential adaptation to a youth-focused project.”

Several clubs outside France are also monitoring the situation closely.

Among the teams linked with the midfielder are Girona FC and Villarreal CF from Spain’s La Liga, as well as Leeds United from England.

All three clubs are reportedly considering possible offers for the player as interest intensifies ahead of the summer.

Nadir’s performances this season have contributed to the growing attention surrounding him.

Since the beginning of the current campaign, the attacking midfielder has featured in 28 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing five assists.

Those numbers reflect a season in which he has continued to establish himself despite the competition for places within the Marseille squad.

His technical style and ability in possession have made him one of the younger profiles being watched by clubs searching for players capable of developing further in competitive European leagues.

The midfielder has also earned recognition at international level.

In November 2023, Nadir was included in the 26-man squad for the Morocco Olympic football team for friendly matches against Denmark and the United States.

That selection represented another important stage in his development and underlined the regard in which he is held within Moroccan football.

For Strasbourg, the potential signing of a young player already familiar with Ligue 1 could represent an attractive opportunity, especially if his contractual situation allows a deal under favourable conditions.

Marseille, meanwhile, continue to face uncertainty over the future of one of their promising midfielders.

With no extension agreement currently in place, speculation surrounding Nadir is expected to continue growing as the transfer window approaches.

The coming months could therefore prove decisive for the player’s future, with clubs in France, Spain and England all reportedly monitoring developments closely.

Whether he remains in Marseille or begins a new chapter elsewhere in Europe, Bilal Nadir appears set to become one of the names to watch during the summer market.
