Morocco star Noussair Mazraoui changes agency amid growing AC Milan interest

Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui has made a significant change in his career management by choosing a new agency to handle his professional affairs.

The Manchester United defender has joined the Panthera agency, bringing an end to his working relationship with his previous representatives.

The decision comes at a crucial stage in Mazraoui’s career, with growing speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford and increasing interest from clubs across Europe, particularly in Italy.

The Moroccan full-back has been linked with a possible move to Serie A, with AC Milan reportedly among the clubs monitoring his situation as they look to strengthen their defensive options during the current summer transfer window.

Mazraoui enjoyed an impressive 2025-2026 campaign with Manchester United, becoming one of the most trusted members of the squad. The versatile defender featured in around 60 matches across all competitions throughout the season, underlining his importance to the team’s plans.

His consistency, defensive discipline and ability to operate in multiple positions have made him a valuable asset for the Red Devils. The Moroccan international has shown he can perform effectively as a right-back, left-back and even as a central defender when required.

In the English Premier League alone, Mazraoui made 20 appearances, accumulating 992 minutes of action. During that period, he recorded an impressive 88% passing accuracy while creating five major chances for his teammates.

Defensively, the former Ajax and Bayern Munich player also contributed significantly, helping Manchester United keep three clean sheets. He registered 11 successful tackles, made 69 clearances and completed nine interceptions, demonstrating his ability both in possession and without the ball.

His tactical flexibility has been one of his biggest strengths, allowing Manchester United’s coaching staff to rely on him in different tactical setups and during difficult moments of the season.

Meanwhile, AC Milan continue to follow developments around the Moroccan defender. Reports suggest that the Italian giants have already made initial enquiries regarding a possible deal, with the move reportedly receiving attention from their technical department.

Milan’s interest is believed to be linked to their search for defensive reinforcements, with manager Ruben Amorim understood to be an admirer of Mazraoui’s qualities and versatility.

However, Manchester United remain determined to keep hold of the 27-year-old defender. Current manager Michael Carrick reportedly sees Mazraoui as an important part of the club’s future plans and values his experience, adaptability and reliability.

The Moroccan’s current contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2028, giving the Premier League club a strong negotiating position should any offers arrive.
