Morocco star Nayef Aguerd passes Real Sociedad medical

Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd is on the verge of completing his return to Real Sociedad after successfully passing his medical examination ahead of a proposed move to the Spanish club.

The defender has cleared the medical stage of the transfer, leaving only the completion of the remaining official procedures before the deal can be formally concluded.

Aguerd is expected to sign his contract with Real Sociedad on Thursday, paving the way for him to return to a club where he enjoyed a productive spell during the 2024/2025 season.

The Moroccan centre-back previously represented Real Sociedad on loan from West Ham United during that campaign and made a strong impression during his time in Spain.
