Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of their PSG Academy in Casablanca, Morocco, on Monday, November 11, 2024.

This initiative aims to provide high-quality football training for Moroccan youth, fostering talent and passion for the sport in the region.

The event was graced by Achraf Hakimi, the celebrated Morocco and PSG defender, who emphasized his commitment to nurturing the next generation of football stars in his homeland.

Located in Tamaris, the academy has been operational since September and caters to boys and girls aged 4 to 18.

With a capacity of 300 participants, the facility offers training based on PSG’s esteemed methodology.

Beyond technical skills, the academy aspires to cultivate discipline, teamwork, and self-belief in its young players.

Hakimi’s presence at the inauguration was particularly inspiring.

“This academy represents more than just football. It’s about empowering our youth to dream and achieve,” he said, reflecting on his own journey from Morocco to global football stardom.

The launch of PSG Academy Morocco solidifies the bond between the Parisian club and Moroccan football enthusiasts, who rank as the 10th largest PSG fanbase worldwide.

This initiative promises a brighter future for Moroccan football, blending passion with professionalism.
