Morocco move to Tangier ahead of Sunday clash with Mali

Morocco have moved to the next stage of their preparations for Sunday’s friendly against Mali after holding their final training session at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmoura on Friday.

The Atlas Lions trained from 10:30 GMT before travelling to Tangier, where they will continue their preparations for the meeting with Mali at the Grand Stade de Tanger.

The friendly is scheduled for Sunday, 4 October, with kick-off at 18:00 GMT.

Morocco’s technical staff used Friday’s session to continue working on the plans prepared for the Mali fixture.

The session marked the final training exercise for the national team at the Mohammed VI Football Complex before the squad’s move to Tangier.

The Atlas Lions will now have the opportunity to complete their preparations in the city ahead of Sunday’s match.

Final Tangier training open to media

Morocco’s final training session before facing Mali will take place at the Grand Stade de Tanger on Saturday, 3 October.

The session will be open to the media from 17:00 GMT, with the first 15 minutes reserved for photographs and interviews with selected Morocco players.

The Atlas Lions will then complete their preparations for their friendly against Mali on Sunday evening.
