Moroccan attacking midfielder Reda Lakhmidi has joined Rapide Oued Zem from Wydad Fes on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old moved to the club on 15 September 2026 after less than eight months at Wydad Fes, whom he joined from RCA Zemamra in January. Lakhmidi’s switch to Rapide Oued Zem is the latest move in a series of free transfers during his senior career.

Lakhmidi has played 34 matches in the Botola Pro Inwi, scoring two goals and providing five assists. He has also made one appearance in the Moroccan Throne Cup, completing 90 minutes.

Born in El Jadida on 19 February 2000, Lakhmidi operates in attacking midfield and is right-footed. He began his senior career with Difaa El Jadida after progressing from the club’s under-21 side, before moving to RCA Zemamra in January 2025.

His move to Wydad Fes followed six months at RCA Zemamra, where he had also arrived without a transfer fee. Lakhmidi now changes clubs again, this time joining Rapide Oued Zem for the 2026-27 campaign.

The transfer adds an experienced domestic midfielder to Rapide Oued Zem’s squad, with Lakhmidi bringing top-flight and cup experience from his time in Moroccan football. His record includes appearances across Botola Pro Inwi and the Coupe du Trone Marocaine.

Lakhmidi’s career has so far remained within Morocco, with his latest move taking him from Wydad Fes to Rapide Oued Zem. The transfer was completed as a free move on 15 September 2026.
