Morocco international Ismaël Saibari has been rewarded for a standout campaign with PSV Eindhoven, earning a nomination for the Dutch Player of the Year award following a stellar campaign.

Saibari has delivered the most productive season of his career so far, registering 15 goals and 8 assists in the league alone.

Across all competitions, his influence has been even more striking, with a total return of 19 goals and 9 assists—numbers that underline his growing status as one of PSV’s most decisive attacking threats.

Operating primarily as an attacking midfielder, Saibari has combined intelligent movement with sharp finishing and consistent end product, playing a key role in PSV’s domestic campaign and often stepping up in crucial moments.

His performances have now placed him among the leading contenders for the prestigious Dutch league Player of the Year award, marking a major milestone in his rapid development.

However, competition for the prize remains strong, with several standout performers also in contention. The shortlist includes Tjaronn Chery of NEC, Ajax’s Mika Godts, Heerenveen midfielder Jacob Trenskow, and PSV teammate Joey Veerman.

Saibari’s nomination caps off what has been a breakthrough season at the highest level of Dutch football, with his consistent attacking output making him one of the most influential midfielders in the Eredivisie this year.
