Morocco national team will take on Tunisia and Benin in a two separate friendlies in June 2025 as part of preparations for the AFCON tournament later this year.
The Atlas Lions will take on North African counterparts, Tunisia on June 7 at Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Raba before taking on Benin, three days later.
Morocco coach Walid Regragui opted for Benin given the similarity in performance with Comoros, their rivals in the AFCON tournament.
The 2022 World Cup semifinalist were paired in Group A and will open their account against Comoros.
Tunisia, on the other hand, considered as strong as Nigeria was chosen to face Moroccan, the most important opponent of the Carthage Eagles in its group in the CAN.
The two friendlies come to compensate for the match against Congo in the World Cup qualifiers after the latter was excluded by FIFA.
