Morocco: Key fixtures set to light up weekend in Botola Pro D1

Matches brought forward from the sixth round of Morocco’s Botola Pro D1 take centre stage this weekend as clubs balance domestic duties with continental campaigns.

The action begins on Saturday in Tangier, where Ittihad Tangier host Maghreb Fez at the Cité des Sports from 16:00.

Later that evening, Raja Casablanca welcome Olympique Dcheira to the Mohammed V Sports Complex at 18:00.

Sunday features two more encounters. Union Touarga meet Union Yacoub El Mansour at the November 18 Stadium in Khemisset at 16:00, followed by COD Meknes against Kawkab Marrakech at the Ismaili City Stadium at 18:00.

Several fixtures from matchday five have been delayed to next week due to four Moroccan sides competing in CAF tournaments.

AS FAR face Hassania Agadir on Wednesday, 29 October at Rabat’s Olympic Stadium, while the Casablanca derby — Wydad vs Raja — takes place the same evening at Mohammed V, kicking off at 20:00.

FUS Rabat host Olympique Safi on Thursday, 30 October at 20:00 in Kenitra.

Renaissance Berkane’s meeting with COD Meknes will be rescheduled, as the “Orange” club focus on the African Super Cup and Champions League qualifiers.
