Morocco’s U20 football team drew 1-1 with Algeria on Wednesday during the North African Football Union (UNAF) tournament in Ismailia, Egypt, a key qualifier for the U20 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Morocco’s goal came late in the match, with Yassir Zabiri finding the net in the 88th minute to equalize.
Despite the draw, Morocco retains its position at the top of the standings with seven points, following two wins and a draw.
The Moroccan side is set to face Libya in their final match on Saturday.
