Morocco face Angola in 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations final

Morocco will face Angola in the 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat on Wednesday, with kick-off at 20:00 local time.

The hosts are one victory away from securing a fourth consecutive continental title after an unbeaten run through the tournament. They will meet Angola in a repeat of the 2024 final, when Morocco claimed a convincing 5-1 victory.

The match will take place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat. It will begin at 20:00 in both Morocco and Angola, 21:00 in Algeria and 22:00 in France.

Morocco returned to GMT on 20 September, accounting for the two-hour time difference with France.

Earlier on Wednesday, Algeria will play Egypt in the third-place match. That game is scheduled to start at 17:00 GMT, in line with the tournament programme.

The final will be shown live in Morocco on Arryadia TNT and will also be broadcast on beIN Sports 6.

The Confederation of African Football has confirmed that the match will be available to watch free of charge on CAF TV, its official YouTube channel. It will also be carried by several of CAF’s international broadcast partners, depending on the territory.

Morocco, the three-time defending champions, have dominated the competition on home soil. Hicham Dguig’s side have won all four of their matches without conceding a goal.

They opened with a 4-0 victory over Algeria, followed that with a 7-0 win against Zambia and beat Libya 6-0 before overcoming Egypt 6-0 in the semi-finals.

Those results have left Morocco with 23 goals scored and none conceded. A fourth successive title would follow their previous triumphs in 2016, 2020 and 2024, further extending their dominance of African futsal.

Angola have also won every match they have played in this tournament and will not be short of confidence. The Palancas Negras defeated Egypt 4-2 in the group stage before edging past Algeria 3-2 in the semi-finals.

They will be seeking revenge for the 2024 final and aiming to win the first continental title in their history. However, they face a Morocco side that have not lost a Futsal Africa Cup of Nations match since 2014.

The two teams therefore meet with Morocco aiming to maintain their long-standing control of the competition, while Angola look to turn their second successive final appearance into a historic victory.
