Morocco defender Ilyass Badri leaves El-Mansour and becomes unattached

Morocco centre-back Ilyass Badri has left El-Mansour and is now without a club after completing his latest move on 1 August 2026.

The 28-year-old defender’s departure brings an end to his spell with El-Mansour, where he had been registered since August 2024. Badri made 17 recorded appearances across the Botola Pro Inwi, Excellence Cup and Coupe du Trone Marocaine, playing 687 minutes in the league and a further 371 minutes in cup competitions.

Badri previously represented TAS Casablanca, joining the club from Mansouria in July 2023. He moved to El-Mansour the following year, with both of those transfers recorded as free transfers.

The right-footed central defender began his senior career with El-Mansour after leaving the FAR Rabat youth set-up in 2019. He later returned to the club following a spell with Mansouria, before making the switch to TAS Casablanca.

Born on 2 February 1998, Badri stands at 1.81m and has played primarily as a centre-back throughout his career. His recorded competitive appearances have come in Moroccan domestic football, including the Botola Pro Inwi and the country’s cup competitions.

His latest status was updated on 1 August 2026, when the move away from El-Mansour was recorded and his club affiliation changed to without club. No new destination or contract details were attached to the transfer.

Badri’s departure means El-Mansour have lost a Morocco international-level-listed central defender from their squad, although no replacement has been identified. The 28-year-old is now available after ending his association with the club.

Ilyass Badri has therefore completed his move away from El-Mansour and is without a club from 1 August 2026.
