Morocco confirms summer transfer window dates for 2026-27 season
Morocco’s National Professional Football League (LNFP) has confirmed the dates for the 2026 summer transfer window, with clubs set to begin their recruitment for the 2026-27 campaign later this month.
In an official statement, the league announced that the registration period will open on 20 July 2026 and close on 15 September 2026, giving clubs in both the Botola Pro and the second division almost two months to strengthen their squads.
Clubs prepare for busy recruitment period
The transfer window is expected to be one of the busiest periods of the off-season as clubs move to reinforce their teams ahead of the new campaign.
Alongside signing new players, teams are also expected to focus on renewing the contracts of key members of their squads while reshaping their rosters for the challenges of the 2026-27 season.
Domestic and continental ambitions drive transfer activity
Several Botola clubs are preparing to compete in both domestic and continental competitions next season, increasing the importance of the summer transfer market.
The confirmed registration period will allow clubs to finalise their business before the new season gets underway, with teams looking to build squads capable of competing for league honours and success in African club competitions.
