Morocco will face Niger on November 13 and 17 as the Atlas Lions resume their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, according to reports in Moroccan newspaper Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has scheduled the first meeting for November 13 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, with the return fixture set to take place four days later at the Friendship Stadium in Lebanon.

Niger will host the second match at a neutral venue because the country does not have a stadium approved by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The two fixtures will form the third and fourth rounds of Group A, with Morocco looking to maintain their strong start to the qualifying campaign.

The Atlas Lions currently lead the group with six points after recording two victories over Gabon and Lesotho, winning both matches by the same 2-0 scoreline.

Morocco will now turn their attention to the double-header against Niger as they seek to strengthen their position in the race to qualify for the tournament.

The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to be hosted by Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya in June and July.
