Morocco champions Maghreb de Fes edges closer to signing Stellenbosch FC forward Devin Titus

Stellenbosch FC forward Devin Titus is on the verge of completing a move to Moroccan champions Maghreb de Fes after the two clubs reached an agreement over his transfer.

The South African attacker has been linked with a move away from the Cape Winelands outfit for the past season or two, with clubs from North Africa having monitored his situation.

Those links have now intensified, with Maghreb de Fes emerging as the club that has secured an agreement with Stellenbosch FC for the transfer of the talented forward.

Titus is set to join the reigning Botola champions, where he will also reunite with a familiar South African face in former Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa.

Mabasa completed his move to the Moroccan club last week, and Maghreb de Fes have now moved to further strengthen their attacking options by adding Titus to their roster.

The agreement between Stellenbosch and Maghreb de Fes represents a significant step towards completing the transfer, although the deal is not yet fully concluded.

Titus still needs to undergo his medical examination before the move can be finalised, while personal terms between the player and the Moroccan champions also remain to be settled.
